One of the cook top lights went out, but when I tried to unscrew the bulb it came apart with the base stuck in the socket. I knew what would happen, but I still tried to unscrew the other bulb, same thing. Even after removing the sockets, the bases remained fused inside. A quick search revealed this as a common problem with this model, which is concerning and confusing. However, must say I’m grateful this website made everything clear and accessible. (Wish the parts weren’t half the cost of a new microwave, but oh well…)
Everything is replaced and functions and we’re happy. Just don’t forget to turn off the breaker.
