How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP8053826 / WD28X35779 Upper Rack (Dishrack Assembly)

Ordered both top and bottom pieces from Appliance Parts Pros. Amazingly fast shipping!!! Installed the new parts in about 5 minutes and everything is good... 

I ordered replacement parts from Appliance Parts Pros. The racks were very simple to replace. Both new parts are better designed than the old ones. 

Got the serial number of the machine, submitted it on AppliancePartsPros.com, ordered both racks within minutes and FedEx delivered them within three days. Watched the replacement video on AppliancePartsPros.com and I successfully completed the entire replacement within 15 minutes. Saved me a BUNDLE! 

Ordered a mew upper basket and it arrived in leas than 24 hours! 

I ordered the parts by model number . Parts arrived in 2 days . They need be assembled .They both worked fine. Except upper rack include black plastic tube were broken . Since originally rack didn’t have that , so we didn’t need that extra parts. 

Easy repair. The only issue I had was the rollers were put on back wards for the bottom rack. Switched them and it worked great. 

Replaced both upper and lower racks of the dish washer 

We replaced both the bottom and the top racks. It was easy and fast. The bottom rack you just remove and replace without any tools. The top rack you have to disconnect the front clips so that you can remove it. Then we had to remove 4 top round slider rings from the new rack so that it would fit. our dishwasher already had the correct piece in the back of the dishwasher so we didn’t have to change it. Once the new top rack was in we reinstalled the front clips. 

This part was so easy to replace. It took five minutes, tops! 

I purchased new replacement racks from Appliance Parts Pros. To my surprise, it was delivered the very next day in Los Angeles. The racks fit perfectly and seem to have been updated with better manufacturing standards.
