The fan failed on the motor of my lg dryer

Watched the info on YouTube and ordered the part of which I chose to get overnight and had it repaired the next afternoon.

Motor bearings were very noisy.

Replaced the motor. It takes pretty much a complete disassembly of the dryer. If it is as old as mine (16 years) I would also recommend replacing the roller wheels and belt as well. It now runs just like new; unbelievably smooth and quiet.

It was our dryer my husband use to own a laundry store so he knew what part we needed for him it was no problem

My husband fixed it,I'm lucky he knows how to do that , but he knows how to do a lot of different repairs, I'm lucky. Our dryers 11 years old, it's been great till this past year but with that part, it's like a new dryer. I personally love LG products, all our our appliances are LG.

I had to run the dryer multiple times per load.to get it to dry.

Did the research and all said the same thing: Clean the filter, Change the heater assembly, and the blower wheel. Watched the Install video and it looked easy enough. Since I was doing a complete breakdown of the dryer. I decided to change the heater, belt, and blower wheel. The dryer is 15+ years old. Installed the parts....dryer is back in new condition.
