John M Parma , OH January 18, 2023 Leaking water. Did not know where to start. Your video on how to open the shell gave me the motive to start and from there it was easy to identify the problem. The parts were well-priced and went ahead and did some preemptive fixes just in case with easy-to-reach and well-priced parts. I watched other videos to see what else might go wrong for future reference and how difficult the fix might be. Really enjoyed your videos. Much better than watching reruns in TV! Steven J Branson , MO January 22, 2022 Appliance: Model LG WM2487HRM LG front load washer bearings and seal replacement. The instructional video was great. Each step worked just as it was shown. Removing the old bearings took 2 hours of banging using progressively bigger hammers but they did come out. We installed the new bearings using the old bearings to bang them in. The seal went in smoothly. Our problem came when trying to lower the back half of the tub enclosure on to the spider shaft. It would not drop down all the way as shown in the video. This problem isn’t mentioned in this or any other video online. The old bearings wouldn’t fit on the shaft either. Thought that was strange. After some careful grinding on the shaft and some grease it finally dropped through both bearings with a little help from a hammer. Everything went back together easily following the video. Washer works like new. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers, Socket Set
