How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5332003 / MDS47123604 Gasket

I pulled off the back panel to see where the water was coming from. All the hoses were fine and I could see it was coming from the front part of the machine. I then took off the outer retaining spring of the rubber seal on the door and found a small quarter inch sized crack in the rubber. I ordered a new gasket from appliance parts pros and it was on my porch in less than 24 hours! Watched the instructional video on the site on how to pull and replace it and slapped the new one on in about 45 minutes. Super easy! 

We replaced the the door seal. 

Removed outer door boot seal clamp and inner boot seal clamp then removed boot seal gasket and replaced all three parts. Bought the special clamp tool to remove spring clamps and it was worth it. To remove inner spring clamp I used an adjustable bar clamp with one end reversed and strong cable ties through each end of spring to spread spring open. Worked perfect. Boot seal gasket fit perfect, clamps too.
