How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5211577 / 4974EL1002B Filter Guide

Parts shown at the right went in with no problem and dryer works again. 

I replaced the pieces and all the lint was really easy to take the vacuum cleaner extension for the hose and clean out all the stuff inside which with any dryer you should be clean them out once a year. I didn't order the sensor strips that were on the one piece, but they were easy to take off and put back into the new piece saved a bunch of money. 

Not the same as the picture but it fits right. I had to remove the moisture bars from the old one and put them on the new one. 

Replacement Filter Guide. 

I ordered the Filter Guide and a Guide Cover. 

The dryer has been working for 3 days now. The thermistor tested good but removed anyway and found probe inside blower had built up lint on it affecting its sensitivity 

Ordered new part. To dryer apart to replace. Put dryer back together and was ready to use. 

Took new part and removed older dryer sensor bars and placed into new lint trap holder. Works great now. 

I bought these 3 pieces and put it back together.
