How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP4508073 / EBR41531305 Refrigerator Main Control Board

We live in a very remote area and could not get a repairman to come take a look at the refrigerator. Fortunately, one of the repairman took the time to ask my husband what the fridge was/wasn't doing. He indicated to my husband that since it stopped cooling AND the lights quit working simultaneously, there was a very high probability that the "control board" was bad and that it was an easy fix, but the part may be pricey. He explained how/where to locate the control board and suggested a website for a video on how to install a new board. We purchased the replacement board from www.appliancepartspros.com for about $120 with shipping and received the part VERY quickly (about 3 days). It took my husband about 5 minutes to switch out the old control board for the new one and ....BOOM a perfectly working refridgerator. YAY!!! Thanks to a repairman who took pity on us and offered some helpful advice and AppliancePartsPros.com, we have a working refrigerator again. 

I replaced it with a new one 

Replaced the control board. 

Using volt-ohm meter , check to be sure there was 120 volts going into circuit board on back panel. Checked fuse, no power. Called Parts pros and helped me confirm the board was faulty. They ordered the board and in 2 days was up and running. 

Replaced the main power control board (PCB) 

Worklng good.
