Called Samsung, they recommended a company who came out about 2 weeks later with 3 technicians and said $450.00 to replace the ice maker which wasn't in stock, it would be another 2 weeks. Charged me $120.00 for the visit. Not wanting to pay that much, I found this company online, ordered the parts for another $125.00 and talked to friends who are electricians etc. to line up help when the ice maker arrived. It took my husband and son longer to empty the freezer than it did to replace the parts. No professional help needed. Samsung had told us "only a professional can exchange an ice maker". Next morning, a bin full of fresh ice. Even wasting the $120 for the service company, I was still ahead $250. Appliance Pros ships out for next day delivery, I wish I knew about them a month earlier! Great company, knowledgeable staff on the phone, I highly recommend this company.
