How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP5914700 / DA63-07860A Refrigerator Flip Drawer Cover

This item worked great on my Model #RH22H9010SR SAMSUNG Side-by-Side Refrigerator Removed old one and snapped back in. The clips were a bit snug and i could not figure out how to remove the entire lid, it had some clips but even depressed it would not slide out. I had to jiggle the broken lid off it's clips, and when putting the new one back on it was also tight so i supported the side plastic rods (to where it snaps in) with a dull knife or screwdriver while pushing really hard to snap it in 'all the way' or the lid will not rotate freely to open n close. 

Ordered the new cover and easily installed it. It just snapped into place. 

Had a large glass storage container fall from the top shelf and obliterate the crisper drawer cover at the bottom of the fridge. Unpacking the replacement cover took longer than installing it. Pretty straight forward, though you might want to take the crisper drawer out, to create a bit more working space, and use your fingers to brace the crisper top that the drawer cover attaches to; the attachment site for the hinges is a bit flimsy. Perhaps more important the replacement drawer arrived about sixteen hours after the order was placed. 

Just ordered the part and put it in. Worked very well. 

REMOVED THE OLD ONE AND INSTALLED THE NEW ONE. 

It took longer to take the food out of the refrigerator than it did to repair the the flip up cover and the shelf tracking. Had to snap the flip up cover to the bottom shelf (remove bottom shelf for easier repair) and put the tracking on the molded bracing and the two shelf retaining bracing screws and slide the glass shelves in. 

Hard to find parts, found at appliance pros. Simply snap the new ones in place. I had to call the helpline. The assistant actually called Samsung to find the part. Replacements fit like they were supposed to, without issues. 

Ordered the replacement part and received part in a couple of days. Snapped part into place in a minute. Piece of cake
