Nathan G Leesburg , VA June 13, 2014 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RB2155BB Light switch button was broken on fridge/freezer Checked bulb, then circuit board connection on back and then pulled apart the switch mechanism to find that one of the copper conductors was broken. I attempted to solder the two pieces together, but that only worked for about 5 mins till it broke again. Ordered the new part which fit and worked perfectly. Problem solved. Charles A Grass Valley , CA October 25, 2016 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RB215LASH/XAA-0000 Freezer light not lighting and the freezer fan keeps running when door is open The freezer fan should turn off and of course the freezer light should turn on when the freezer door is opened. With these symptoms I knew the switch was bad without even metering across the switch contacts so I just went ahead and replaced it fixing the problem. Use a screwdriver to pry the switch out and pull the connector out of the switch. Very easy for anyone to do. (Always unplug power first) This switch operates the refrigerator light and fan as well.
