How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4338362 / DE67-00222C Microwave Handle Cap

Ater receiving the part and watching a video on youtube, the microwave was fixed within five minutes. 

So glad the parts that broke were available. Disassembly was easy. Reassembly was easy too once I put a dab of Vaseline to hold the screw on the Philips to insert horizontally. Quick, convenient, and done for less than 20 bucks. I love it. 

Ordered (2) Handle caps and (1) Earth-Door new Wave 2 clip. Wasn't sure of the need or purpose for the Wave 2 clip but for a little over $4.00 figured it was worth a chance. Only had to partially remove the inner trim with a putty knife.to access screws (videos helpful) because I had a stubby Philips screwdriver. Removed handle assembly from door. Top cap had the wave 2 clip inserted but the bottom cap did not have one. Maybe that's why it broke. Inserted the wave 2 clip I bought into bottom cap, reused the top cap and clip and reassembled. Now have an extra cap should one break. Did the fix in front of my wife of 41 years and finally she thinks I'm a genius. It took me longer to write this than to fix the problem. 

Instead of having to replace the whole handle at $55 I changed out the receptacle that was broken in two minutes and the job was done. 

Ordered new handle caps and they delivered in less than 18 hours @ standard shipping rates! Watched a 5 minute YouTube video and 10 minutes later it was fixed! If I'd had to get the complete handle assembly it would have cost me $50 instead of the $17 for what I actually needed... One Tip... Pop the inner door cover off starting at the hinges. You wont need a screwdriver and its way easier!

I watched a how-to video and replaced the parts and my old handle. Easy, about 10 min. total. 

Ordered the parts from Applicane Parts Pro and received within 2-3 days 

I reviewed the parts diagram to see what was needed. Ordered 2 end caps and a specialty screw. Super easy. Customer service was amazing.
