How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6008088 / WP3359452 Locking Nut

I ordered a Base frame assembly and front leveling feet along with locking nuts. I removed the broken parts by putting the washer on its' side and I removed the bolts on the bottom of the back panel and removed the motor and the transmission. I installed the new feet onto the new base frame and i slid the new frame into place and then I reattached everything. 

Replaced broken agitator dogs and leveling foot 

Removed panels from dryer and discovered one of the drum rollers was worn and off the shaft. Went on-line and ordered parts which showed up in only 3 days (Dryer still worked with one missing drum roller). Replaced shaft, hardware and two drum rollers as the other was beginning to wear also. Not a difficult task. Dryer up and running great. 

I pulled the stacking set out and took the dryer off of the top (with help). I tilted the appliance up to remove the old feet and installed the new ones set to the lowest height (one side at a time). I slid the washer in by itself to test level (it wasn't). Got all four feet in firm contact with the floor. The front was slightly high, so I slid the washer back out, raised the back a turn, and slid it back. I fine-tuned the level from there. Slid the washer back out for the last time, reinstalled the dryer on top, reattached the hoses and tubes, and slid the whole thing back in place. This would've been a lot easier with self-leveling rear legs. 

Replacement parts fit perfectly.
