How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4026932 / 22001821 Agitator

Removed old agitator, took 20 seconds, installed new one, again 20 seconds. One small bolt. it took one small socket set very simple. Delivery was less than one day. I was very pleased . 

Took less than 5 minutes to change out the agitator. It was held on by a single screw. 

Had to replace the entire agitator and base unit. One screw secured the whole unit to the shaft. I unscrewed the agitator, slipped the new one on, tightened screw and it was back to full operation. 

Ordered a new one ,the part was shipped the same day I ordered it, I came home from work the next day and the part was here.I unscrewed the old one, put the new one on, tightened the lock screw and was done. It took all of 10 minutes, and I was able to start doing was again. I picked standard shipping at the checkout and received the part the next day, great service and will be using appliance parts pros from now on, thank you! 

Gunk a real pain to completely remove. Replaced agitator. 

Replaced agitator, one screw, piece of cake. One 1/4" socket for the secure screw, so easy anyone could do it.

Since washer was at least15 years old,thought about buying a new one. Being so disappointed with reviews and quality of many different brands of new washers and trying to find one to fit existing closet, not to mention prices, decided to buy a replacement agitator. Best decision, was very easy to replace and still have a well built washer. Delivery was in 2 days!
