How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6006852 / WP2257018 Door Shelf Bin

Just slide in the new parts and my fridge is like new again. 

The part number that was attached to the shelves did not match any but I called and email that Appliance Part Pros quickly indentifed that the manufacturer had changed the part number and outlined which shelf would work. They we're very fast and helpful. The part arrive at my home 2 days after ordering with regular delivery, not expedited. I was extremely impressed with their service. 

Ordered a new door shelf bin. 

.Ordered the replacement cosmetic parts and storage bins to replace old broken and discolored parts. Will keep this refrigerator for a while longer. This refrigerator is 22 years old and made in the USA so still works great. 

Replaced the shelf. Challenge was finding which part to use (6 or 22). It came down to how long it was front to back. Higher shelves are longer since they are above the crisper bins on the bottom. 

Ordered replacement door shelf and crisper drawer kits. Parts were very simple to find on the schematic. Took less than 5 minutes to logon, order parts and checkout. Parts arrived in 2 days. Pulled the old ones out and replaced with new shelf/drawers. Installation took less than 5 minutes which included opening the boxes and moving the items to the new shelf/drawers. I highly recommend this website.
