How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6006179 / WP2198641 Ice Maker Cover Bracket

Replaced broken items 

Ordered from APPros, perfectly fit application. 

Easiest repair ever. 

Replaced it with a new bracket. 

I watched the video and replaced it. 

The ice maker in my Kenmore Refrigerator stopped working. I had used Appliance Parts Pros in the past, so I checked on the site. It had the new ice maker in stock and a video that walked me thru the process. It was the easiest, smoothest home repair I have ever done. It took me 5 minutes to get the old ice maker out. Two days for the new one to arrive, and less than a minute to get the new one in. I am not usually very handy, but this was so easy to complete. The new ice maker worked perfectly. It defintely was cheaper than hiring a repair person or getting a new fridge. I will cerainly use APP again! 

Replaced plastic door hinge/base assembly 

Replaced both the door and the mounting bracket. 

Easy fix, found the required parts on your site. Removed two small screws with a small socket set and replaced with the new. Everything lined up exactly like the original parts. 

Terrific! Parts came on time. Videos on your website (you tube) were clear and easy to follow. Very happy to be able to knock this sort of thing out by myself rather than pay someone else to do it!
