How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6042004 / W11048596 Cap-Hub

Ordered new feet & end cap from Appliance Parts Pro in a few days my order can to the house. Exact parts I ordered took about 5 mins. to replace feet & end cap. 

I WENT ONLINE AND ORDERED THE PART ON A TUESDAY. IT WAS DELIVERED BY FED EX ON WEDNESDAY. GREAT SERVICE. 

The replacement plug appears OEM and fits and looks as it did before. 

I'm sorry I don't remember the name of the service person who helped me with my order. She is exceptional. She knew exactly what I was looking for. I did not have to go back to your online order.. She took all my information and placed for me. I said "it is nice to talk to someone who knows exactly what to do" I thank you very much. EXCEPTIONAL! 

I ordered two parts a Hubcap and a Thumb screw for my KitchenAid and it was really easy to install. I will do business with them again when I need it.

My daughter and I purchased a second-hand kitchenaid mixer that would turn on, but only had one speed, not the ten it was supposed to have. We watched a video on this site and figured we needed a new speed control plate (and we ordered a new motor housing seal as well as long as we had it apart). The new part worked as advertised, and turned our bargain mixer into a working machine! Thanks! 

This just a couple of parts that required no disassembly so it was a snap. The website to order the parts were intuitive and easy to use and the parts were delivered within a couple of days. 

The cap and set screw was easy slide in the cap screw in the set screw. The shield pour sets right on the bowl. I took the top of the mixer off unbolted everything to get the the speed knob and replaced it and put it back together. I had to you a 1/8 inch punch and hammer. 

Took it apart and replaced the gear
