My grandma's dryer door latch broke. She was duck taping the dryer shut to use it. I ordered the part and switched the latch out easy peasy. I thought I'd have to take the door apart, but I didn't. Just used a flat head screwdriver to pop off the plastic cover. Then Turned the metal piece the plastic latches were attached to, then popped in new metal piece that had the latches.
