How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014385 / WP99001885 Dishwasher Water Deflector

After reading some troubleshooting tips I checked both the upper and lower spray arms for damage (cracks, etc.) or clogged holes; after finding them to be ok the next logical culprit was the door seal. I ordered a new door seal (at a very reasonable price), had it in the mail 2 days later, installed it in less than 3 minutes, and boom! Problem solved, leak was fixed (and this was after a few suggested buying a new dishwasher altogether.) Great experience overall, I will definitely be using Appliance Parts Pros again! 

The repair went great! It was my daughter's dishwasher located 3 hours away. I ordered the door seal, two water deflectors, and a foam insulation strip. I was pleasantly surprised when they came to me in less than two days! My daughter was selling her townhome and wanted to fix the leak before a home inspection. I drove the 3 hours and helped my daughter install the seal and water deflectors (she did it all by herself!). We ran a wash cycle and no leak!! I did not use the foam strip but will hold on to it in case we need it down the line. Finding the parts was easy on your website, shipping was very quick, and buying the parts from you and driving 6 hours round trip was still less expensive than having a repair person make a house call. Very Happy! 

Bought an after market seal, still leaked. Read some posts about people that did the same thing with the same results. So I decided to buy the OEM seal and to my surprise, fixed the leak! You can buy a much cheaper after market seal, but your wasting your time and money. The OEM seal is not cheap but worth it. Thanks to all the posts and APP's. 

I ordered the seal and deflectors, watched the video on how to install the seal and now I have no more leaks.I have bought several parts from Appliance Parts Pros and have never had a problem. 

Watched Appliancepartspros videos on YouTube and dismantled down to pump - found cracked impeller and clogged in general. Ordered parts that fit perfectly and put back together. The videos were very helpful. Working well again. Have used Appliancepartspros for appliance parts for years. Very satisfied.
