How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5951849 / W10727679 Lower Dishrack

I ordered a replacement rack from Appliance PartsPros.com 

Replaced the entire lower dishrack with a new rack. Swapping the wheels and clips was simple. The only problem I encountered was the new rack did not come with the fold-down "tine row" used in the rear part of the rack. That part needed to be ordered separately. 

Order the part for the Whirlpool using the model number. I would have been lost on putting wheels and clips on it without the great step-by-step video! The dishwasher still cleans and sanitizes the dishes beautifully so don’t buy a new one if you only need a part !! So grateful to have found this website. The only issue was there was no row of loose tines but the original ones were not damaged so I used those as the last row as shown in the video. In fact, the lower rack I ordered was much better quality than the original rack from Whirlpool. Thank you for your efficiency in shipping and that great do-it-yourself video… it helped tremendously! 

Was able to find the rack from Appliance Parts and received the new rack in a timely matter It was very easy to order the replacement the rack 

Ordered a replacement rack, looked at the video and thats all it took. 

Replaced the lower rack by removing the plastic parts from the old one and snapping them into place on the new one.The repair was easy. 

Bought a new one.
