Our clothes dryer would stop mid-cycle as if it was overheated, and the clothes would not be dry. After waiting a small amount of time, the controls would allow the cycle to be restarted, but this was making the clothes cleaning process take a long time.
After researching potential problems, and watching the repair videos on AppliancePartsPro.com, replacing the Dryer Thermister resolved the problem. I also replaced the Moisture Sensing bars in the dryer for good measure, at the same time, and because they were pretty inexpensive (around $3.00 each). Since replacing both items, the dryer has worked properly!
