How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011445 / WP77001096 Bake Element (2800W)

Ordered a new element from your facility. My son installed the new element and it’s working great! 

Replaced heating element in oven, unfortunately this did not fix the problem. Probably a problem with the power supply or circuit board, which are unavailable. (29 year-old stove) Part from AppliancePartsPro came in 2 days; very impressive. Also a helpful video on this procedure, thank you! 

I replaxced the oven burner. 

With correct replacement element from you guys. Of note, the premium guaranteed two day shipping arrived a day late. Disappointing. 

After viewing your video it was a snap to remove and replace the element 

Problem solved by replacing element. An easy fix requiring only a Philips screwdriver. HOWEVER, be sure to turn off the electrical circuit to the oven because voltage is applied to one side of the element even when the oven control is turned off. If you let that connection terminal contact the oven frame sparks will fly !! 

First I changed out the temp sensor, oven still displayed same codes. Then I changed out the bake element which only took minutes with a screwdriver. display still shows f3. On to the next step. 

Thanks to the video on your website this was the easiest fix I have ever done, we receive the part and was able to replace on our own with in 10 minutes,saved us $100 on person driving to our town and another $150 on the hours of labor he would have charged us . THANK YOU 

Ordered new heating element and fixed within 10 minutes. Very easy.
