How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010686 / WP71002111 Grease Filter

I just bought new knob. 

I got on line and entered the make and model of my oven and immediately I was given the parts numbers and ordered them. They were at my home in 2 days. I got on line to watch a video of how to install the part and it went very smoothly. I would use Appliance Parts Pros again and would recommend them to anyone with a problem. Thanks so much. 

Simple to fix, just remove the old one and throw away and insert the new one. 

Popped two screwing holding the old one out, unclipped the old one, popped in the new one, put the two screwing back on. Whole process took less than 10 minutes. 

It was just a matter of opening the vent grill on our Jenn-Air range and taking out the old and replacing it with the new. I do wish all my repairs were that easy. 

The part arrived quickly and in great shape/. 

Replaced 

I got on line to the Jen Air site and ordered one..it came if good time and i just replaced the old one and it works like a charm. I am very satisfied with my jen air stove ,have had it for 12 yrs and this is the only thing i have had to replace . 

Bought a new one 

I purchased the repair kit (which includes the element and the two grill grates). It looks wonderful, just like new, and it works beautifully. The only interesting glitch is that with the new element the vent fan does not automatically come on when turned to the on position. Which is no big deal, I just manually turn it on and life is tasty!!!
