How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014679 / WPR0130608 Grease Filter

Replaced worn out parts 

Quick shipping made this repair very easy. Screwdriver for the missing microwave light lens and charcoal filter that were factory original replacement parts and a simple remove and replace by hand for the stove burner knob. 

Placed a new grease screen on the Maytag microwave oven. It fits perfectly and is now in place. 

I found my model number and googled for a replacement filter. Found one at reasonable price on Appliance Parts Pros and checked their compatibility feature which confirmed it was the correct filter. I ordered it using their cheapest standard shipping option, and I installed it the next day! Fastest service I ever received ordering online. 

Took out the old filter and slide in the new one. 

Replaced it. Should have ordered New blub also. 

I fixed the small items no problem with screw driver. there is no YouTube video for my exact oven door hinge replacement so I am working up the courage to work on it in the next day or two. Worst case I will call appliance repairman to finish it. 

Removed 2 screws on vent above door. removed charcoal filter. unclipped bulb bracket R & R bulb. Grease filter, no brainer. Very happy with parts, they arrived in 3 days. 

Replaced the filter
