Range hood filter closure broke

Needed to replace the filter on our range hood after the closure broke. Ordered a replacement from ApplicanPartsPtos.com and it was a perfect replacement. And we go the replacement in just two days!

After cleaning my kitchen aid hood filter i dropped it and broke off a screw so then i could not reattach it

I couldn't and had to reorder a new filter. The model number I used to order the part was obsolete but was referenced on the website and with the photo of the part, I knew it was compatable. I received the part within a couple of days, replaced the part, and was good to go. Much cheaper that the Kitchen Aid site.

The old filter would not stay together and kept falling

I tried everything including bonding it together but it would not work and I had to buy a new one. However the price of this filter part has gone up from $70 to $120 and I was really disappointed to see that by waiting a year or two to buy a new one it cost me an additional $50.
