How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP2928255 / 4358853 Grease Filter

Filters for the hood under the microwave were dirty - ordered these perfectly fitting parts and replaced in under 5 minutes! Grease filters can be replaced without any tools - just pulled out the old ones and slide in the new ones. Charcoal filter required to unscrew two screws on the top of the grill. 

I sent you guys the year, make and model number and you sent us, within a few days, the perfect fit. Everything works. Problem now is that we discovered the lightbulb wasn't screwed in and then discovered the actual light "button" on the microwave does not work. Important when lighting is over your cooking area. Leaving light on continually keeps inside of microwave floor very hot. Not safe or smart, in my opinion. SO...now replacing the 2000 microwave with a 2014. But everything you guys did for us was perfect. Would not hesitate to seek your help again. Thanks so much. Mrs. White 

So, I thought replacing them was my best option. After being unable to fine the same size in our local appliance store, I tried going on line. To my surprise, the exact size was available. Because they were so affordable, I ordered an extra pair. In the future, I'll not waste so much time trying to clean them, and just replace with new, clean ones. 

FIRST IS WAS THE OVEN WHEN I DID THE SELF CLEANING AND SHUT IT OFF TO SOON. THEN THE LIGHTS ABOVE THE STOVE WENT OUT. AND THE GREASE VENTS WERE DIRTY AND I NEED NEW ONES . YOU PEOPLE ARE GREAT AND SEND STUFF FAST. WHEN I NEEDED MY OVEN FIXED I HAD THE RIGHT PART THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP AND REALY FAST SERVICE. THANKS AGAIN TWICE JOANN
