How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011682 / WP8066057 Dryer Door Hinge

Followed the video on how to replace the hinge I also replaced the dryer top locks while I had it open 

Watched a video on YouTube . it was a breeze to fix!!! 

Watched a video on You tube which shows how to replace the door hinges on this dryer. 

Before I started I looked at the video which showed exactly what I needed to do. I had to take the front panel of the dryer off, remove the door, replace the hinges and then replace the front panel. Everything went fine until I couldn't get the front panel in the bottom brackets. I finally got it on, then the dryer wouldn't turn as the as the belt had slip off, so I had to repeat the hardest part again. The door and dryer now works well. 

Wasn't hard to replace. My 18 yr old replaced it since he broke it by slamming the dryer door. I told him each step to do and it only took us about 20 min. " Wow Dad that was easy " 

Took the door completely off watched a video on utube and fixed it. The parts fit perfect! 

Replaced hindge 

Went on internet, found the part and video on appliancepartspros.com. Ordered part, watched the video (several times, just to be sure I was doing the steps correctly) while repairing. Needed help with lifting and aligning door with drum and putting the door back on.
