How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6009478 / WP4455524 Oven Door Hinge

Took apart door and found that both spring hinges were cracked. Ordered parts that arrived the next day. Within 48 hours went from shopping for a thousand dollar replacement to spending $80 and now using a perfectly operational oven. Thank you. 

Ordered part, correct part delivered. Followed recommended procedure to replace hinges. Easy fix. While the door was disassembled cleaned the internal glass surfaces. Recommend 'Easy-Off' oven cleaner for the baked on mess.

After a bit of online searching through appliance repair forums and consulting with the folks at Appliance Parts Pros, it seemed that the culprit was the oven door hinges. I ordered replacement ones, installed them, which took care of the problem. Unfortunately, tenants (this is for a vacation rental home) are quite a bit rougher on stuff than we are, so I've had to replace them multiple times. At least I now know how to do it, and have it down to about 20 minutes! Hope this doesn't become a regular competition... 

Bought Oven Door springs assembly and Replaced old weak springs with the new ones you sent. I was pleasantly surprised at the speed my order came to my house by Delivery truck. Everything was as you advertized. Parts were a perfect match. I knew if they weren't a fit I could return them to you. Thanks for your help John
