Daniel L Valley City , OH December 21, 2017 Lid was broken due to seized hinges. Be sure to buy all the parts for both sides. I replaced the lid and the left side hardware earlier this year and 6 months later the other side seized, cracking my new lid. This time I replaced all the hardware on both sides. Linda E York , PA February 10, 2023 Appliance: Model WTW8500D4 The lid on my Whirlpool Cabrio washer wash not closing properly. I went to YouTube and looked up the lid problem and it suggested changing the two hinge pins. To be able to lift off the lid, I had to remove two screws on each side…A torx #15 screwdriver is needed and then the lid was easily lifted off. I took out old pins, and replaced them with your parts…the pins are unique to each side ….the most difficult part of the job was lining up slots in the lid to drop over pins.
