Appliance: Model MAYTAG GEMINI OVEN

When i turned on the top gas burners the dials smoked and would not light the burners

I removed a total of six screws, lifted up the top, and supported it. Then i removed all 4 old switch assembly, using only my hands, no tools needed. You have to remove the back panel, to connect the new wires, very easy, only 4 screws. Just look at where old wires are plugged in, and install, new ones in same spot. Put it all back, and it should work great. Very easy to do, total of maybe 20 min needed.

Stove top would not ignite

This was an easy fix. I simply disconnected the old igniter switch assembly and replaced it with the new. Worked like a charm.

Ignitor awitch on gas stove shorted out and started to burn when sister washed the stobve top with too much water

Took knobs off to see which switch shorted, noticed loose wire on blackened switch. Went on line saw video of how to replace, ordered part from AppliancePartsPro.com, part came 2 days later. Took stove top off and replaced the switch just like on video. Wife and sister was impressed.
