Dennis S Las Cruces , NM December 11, 2017 Oven igniter. Ordered replacement igniter in 2016. Part worked for about 11 months then failed as lower blade cracked & broke in use. No attempt to get return as it was installed but suggested to APPros, part may have defect. As a result seems APPros sent two igniters, which was thoughtful; For one, the blade of the igniter broke in installation; the other installed okay and works. Either from age or design, or materials the igniter blade seems to have a flaw or weakness. Care was taken in installation and break seems not attributable to that, as it involves simply inserting the blade in the shielded housing. Anyway, good for now. Read More...
