How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4024083 / 208847 Siphon Break Kit

Had to pull the front panel off to remove the lid and expose the siphon break from the inside. I removed the old broken piece and replace it with the new part from Appliance Parts Pros.com. It was very easy once the top and front panel were off the washer. The part fit just right. 

I was recently working on my dryer and pulled the washer away from the wall. The Siphon Break snapped as I neglected to take the heavy stiff drain hose out of inlet. Not happy. Found the part on in minutes on your website, got it the next day, watched the videos and installed it --all in a half hour. Looked at where leak was, ordered part, got part when it came. I put new parts on, washer fixed. Very satisfied with your company, not the first time I have used your service. 

Took out the broken part and replaced with the new part. 

Ordered new Siphon Elbow. Watched you tube video on how to repair. 

Followed the video which was very helpful! Parts arrived in a few days and my husband and I repaired my old Maytag, In this pandemic, there are no repairmen. I have a Maytag washer that is over 30 years old and still runs like a top. When the siphon break got destroyed in our move, I was able to find a replacement kit that fixed our problem. I found a video on UTube that showed us just what to do. I'm delighted I didn't have to buy a new washer since the quality of new ones doesn't hold a candle to the quality of my Maytag.
