How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6009183 / WP4173481 Top Burner Control Knob

Ordered one knob 

Bought replacement knobs in black. 

Initially went to my local hardware store and "fortunately" they did not have the item. Stated they needed the model number and it would cost $20.00 per knob. Feeling frustrated because I went to about 3 different appliance/hardware stores without any luck. So I went on line and googled the model number (unfortunately my model was no longer made but item was being replaced as stated on website) and voila. There it was on AppliancePartsPros.Com for almost half of what the other guy was going to charge. So i bought 4 and it fits perfect!! Appreciate the fast or next day delivery. 

I simply replaced all 4 knobs so that they are all of the same color. 

I typed in "appliance parts" into the online search engine (your choice of engine). AppliancePartsPros was at the top of the first page. I put make and model into there search engine and was able to find the parts. I then went back and tried other online companys to find a better deal. APP was the best in price and shipping. Two days later I had the parts. 

Purchased knobs from appliance parts pro. i can't believe it i received my knobs in 1 day!!!! it was fantastic. i will definitely use appliance pros in the future!! 

I simply ordered the replacement knobs from AppliancePartsPros and in 2 days they arrived. Three minutes later the repair was finished! thank you, bill
