How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6278049 / W11122012 Infinite Switch (Top Burner Control), Single

Looked up the part # I needed from the stove top model drawing found on your site. ordered the parts, received them 2 days later, installed and we're back in business ! 

Appliance parts pros. helped me determine the problem and the repair was easy to fix. Turned off breaker to stove top, opened the casing by removing 20 screws around the glass edge, removed glass, removed 4 screws holding control rack , flipped it over , removed 2 screws holding that control, installed new switch, reversed process. easy quick 20 min. tops. 

I ordered the part one afternoon then received new part on the second work day installed the part same day with no problems lucky for me the wiring diagram was still there the install went very well .
