Richard H Mobile , AL June 12, 2017 Appliance: Magic Chef Top Loading Washer W225LV Problems going trhough the various wash cycles plus a ticking sound during all cycles The timer was at fault and a new timer restored the wash cycles. Easy to remove the panel and plug and unplug the timer using a 1/4" nut driver and a phillips screwdriver. The ticking noise was made by a loose belt. I had previously purchased a belt but never put it on -- once I rolled the old one off and placed the new one on the ticking noise was gone during operation. While testing the timer I noticed that the flume assembly was cracking so I replaced that as well by simply taking pliers and releasing the hose clamp and snapping in the new part. The washer is quiet and cycling exactly like it should now. Great advice on this website and great videos! Read More...
