How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6021924 / WPW10468555 Drawer Track

After sliding out the old shelf I removed the middle track from the old shelf & installed it with the new left side track on the new shelf. They basically click in & out. Slid the new shelf assembly in & put meat drawer in place. 

Replaced parts with new, very easy but be careful when installing new tracks to the glass frame. Track parts are tight fit and you might have to use a slight force to engage pieces. They can break if not aligned correctly. 

Original order with the help of Home Depot did not include all the parts. Called customer service and spoke with Deborah A. (I do have her last name but will not use it here). Deborah took the time to look into what parts I really needed and within 2 days had the correct parts and my drawer back. Deborah was awesome and as nice as could be. 

Ordered part which was easy installed in less then 5 minutes. 

Spoke to rep very helpful in identifying parts. Ordered and replaced 

Installed these new drawer slides. It required a flathead screwdriver to assist in unsnapping the old slides. 

Flat head number two screwdriver to pry the old drawer track out. 

We replaced 2 tracks that had failed. This is what was causing the baskets to fall out.

Small problem with determining the removal procedure of broken track. Replacing the old with the new was simple and easy. Determining the part needed was a snap using your diagram layout. Saving the $ not paying for a technician was great.
