After reading other peoples experiences on Appliance Parts Pros, I determined it was the flange shaft assembly. I figured the washer was already broken, what did I have to lose. I watched the repair video three times and gathered the tools needed. This alone saved me a lot of time, not having to guess and go multiple times to find the correct tool. It actually took me six hours from start to finish. When I first exposed the flange shaft I saw nothing wrong with it. This gave me a sinking feeling. Once I removed the part, one of the three arms just fell off. The reassembly only took about an hour because I now had an intimate relationship with the machine. When I started the machine for the first time, my wife and I sat in front of it with a glass of wine and watched for 25 minutes as it went through its cycles. My wife thinks I'm some kind of genius but honestly, without the Appliance Parts Pros video and help, I would not have attempted the repair and the washer would have been out at the curb. With a new flange shaft, bolts and tub gasket, the costs came to about $200.00. The repair video did not match my model number but was close enough to get me through the job. You can't beat AppliancePartsPros. I ordered the parts on a Monday, they were at my door when I got home on Tuesday.
