Frank I So. Lake Tahoe , CA December 28, 2014 The acuator blade on the foot pedal broke the compactor would not function I used the actuator upgrade set sold by Appliance Part Pros. At first I was skeptical, but the upgrade was easy to install and was a significant improvement over the old system. You'll need a nut driver (a cordless drill with a 1/4" nut driver), drill, 3/16" drill bit, and a Phillips screwdriver.
