I had to destroy the old wash plate to remove it from the metal driveshaft. Once the wash plate was removed I got access to the hub assembly ( the spline was completely worn away on the old hub ). I placed the new hub assembly by screwing it in. I tapped the locking pin into position. The new wash plate was positioned on top of the hub assembly and the wash plate was then bolted down. I could then reprogram the washer.
