When the element on our 15 year old builder grade oven went out we were worried it was time to spend thousands on a new oven.
Instead, we found the replacement part on appliancepartspros.com and decided to give replacing it a shot, after all it was $80 instead of $1600. We weren't entirely sure the replacement was the right part because our oven model had an extra "0", but given it came up when I searched for the oven model (if not on the compatability checker) and the refund guarantee we decided it was worth it.
Our old element was secured with hex nuts instead of screws so getting it out took about a half hour but when the new element arrived (ordered Thursday evening, shipped Friday, at the door Saturday, all by standard shipping), install was easy, and best of all, it works.
