Ordered a new switch and swapped them out. The part came quicker than I thought. It took only about 2 minutes to change it. I used a sharp knife to lift the edge of the switch and then slid a small putty knife under the edge to depress the lock tab and pull the switch out. I pulled the plug off the old and pushed it onto the new. The new switch snapped easily back into it's hole. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
