Roger J Lueders , TX March 04, 2024 Appliance: Model JBP24BY2AD Baking element in GE oven not working was burned in two. Fast service from APP.com. Had a little trouble removing old element as the connectors were tacked on with a small amount of solder. Took me a little while to figure that out after I tried to remove the connectors .Had to heat push-on connectors with soldering iron and push off with a flat-end screwdriver when solder melted. Used a 1/4" nut driver to remove and replace hex-head screws that held bracket to oven back wall. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
