Tried all the reset button and power interruption suggestions found on the internet. Had a local repairman visit. He got it going but stated it was a temporary fix that wouln't last long and that both the control panel and circuit board would need to be replaced.
The "fix" lasted a week. I found this site and learned that only the control panel needed to be replaced. However, I noticed that the suggested replacement part was not identical to mine in that it had only 4 cycle buttons but 5 option buttons while the original part had 5 cycle buttons and 4 option buttons.
I tried the site's "chat" feature and got good info but was still uncertain. I called and again got excellent but confusing information. There were two panels available one at about $135 and the other at $153. It was suggested that the $153 panel was the one I needed. However, further investigation on the site stated that the $153 panel was incompatible and that the $135 panel was the correct replacement.
I placed the order while on the phone late morning on a Wednesday asking for normal Fed Ex shipping. The part was shipped that afternoon and in my hands about 10:30 Friday morning. There is a You Tube video describing the replacement and saying it takes about 15 minutes. Great video and bang on estimate.
Despite having slightly different selections the panel works.
Can't be more positive about the service I received from AppliancePartsPros.
