I received an e15 error code while running the dishwasher. To troubleshoot, I pulled the dishwasher from under the cabinet and ran it. I saw the diverter valve part leaking water into the bottom of the dishwasher. After some research, I found this site. I watched the repair video on Youtube and decided to try the repair myself.
The video outlining the procedure for replacing the part is accurate. It took me 45 minutes total to remove the old part, align the new part and tighten the hose clamp. Then I made sure it wasn't leaking by running the dishwasher for 10 minutes. I only needed a philips and flat head screw drivers, and needle nose pliers, to perform the repair.
The biggest challenge was pushing the new part in place while aligning it with other parts in the dishwasher.
