Robert R Englewood , FL August 28, 2021 Appliance: Model BOSCH SHS63VL2UC/09 E15 error code: water distributor leaking Found root cause of water distributor leak: White plastic shaft that goes through the red double lip seal in center of water distributor housing was worn. A groove was worn into shaft ~ 90 DEG around. This short shaft connects motor to distributor wheel. When cycle called for water distributor motor to do its thing, water would leak into bottom of machine, raise the float and trigger E15. Was thrilled that Appliance Parts Pros had the exact assembly I needed. An invaluable aid was the YouTube video with great camera work showing exactly how to tackle repair. Sarah R Austin , TX January 29, 2023 Appliance: Bosch Dishwasher SHE68T55UC/07 E15 error code "Watertap" E15 error code indicated leaking. Dried it all out to allow it to run again. Ran dishwasher with front and bottom panels off to get a visual on leak causing the styrofoam float to set off the code. Saw it was coming from the diverter area. Ordered this assembly -- which DOES include the seal ring, by the way -- pulled dishwasher all the way out to replace it, and VOILA. No more leaking or error code. (This took a few days to analyze and receive the part, so in the meantime we were able to run the dishwasher during the day with the door and bottom panel off as long as we monitored the leak and kept some paper towels down there to soak it up.) Alice D Riverside , CA December 04, 2023 Appliance: Bosch Dishwasher SHE68T55UC/02 Error code e15 discovered water diverter valve was leaking. I reviewed the video on the website, ordered the part, and replaced part. Your videos are great. They are easy to follow and provide excellent videos. This is the 3rd part I have replaced using AppliancePartsPros parts and videos. For this particular part, I would suggest one enhancement to your instruction video. Placing the diverter valve requires significant pressure to get the valve over the gasket. Ultimately, I used needle nose pliers to get the section right behind the sump pump to go into place as it was very difficult to get the leverage needed to push in this area of the valve part. Adding a recommended technique to squeeze the part on would be useful as water was not enough to lubricate the gasket. It took about 2 hours of pushing the part up before I thought of using needle nose pliers to squeeze the two pieces together. This took two people, one on each side to complete, but the diverter valve was in place in minutes instead of hours of unsuccessful pushing. Roderick Y Walnut , CA September 17, 2023 Appliance: Model BOSCH MODEL #SHE68T55UC/03 Showing error code e 15 which indicates water leaking from the bottom upon inspecting water underneath had floated a floating object which then activated a switch to disable the dishwasher Saw water leaking from below the diverter valve assembly; specifically below the motor that is attached to the diverter valve assembly. Initial thought was to replace the rubber O ring around the diverter valve because the rubber ring might have been worn out after so many years of use but later decided to replace the entire assembly, which was the right choice because after removing and disassembling the diverter valve, it revealed there is another smaller rubber O ring inside, which was the actual root cause of the leak. Since it took quite a while to replace the parts, one would only want to take the dishwasher apart once, as opposed to replacing the larger O ring and found that it still leaks and had to go back to replace the whole assembly again, which contains the smaller O ring, which was the real cause of the leak.
