I had a over level water alarm. First I installed the level sensor and that did not fix the problem. Second I installed the Brake;DMT800,R. After installing the brake I had a leak detection alarm and could not get the dishwasher to reset so with the dishwasher still out of the cabinet and the metal plate off of the side. I then placed a fan pointed in the area of the repair and let it run over night to dry out any water that came from changing the part and may be causing the alarm. The next day I ran the dishwasher and all seems to be well now. It took me longer because I had to take it apart two times so my suggestion would be to purchase both the Sensor and the Brake at the same time. I knew it wasn't the drain hose because it would fill up and go into alarm mode and drain right out. All the buttons on the control panel were working so I figured it was probably not that. It was filling up and emptying out so I crossed out the water inlet valve thus leaving me with the determination that it had to be the Sensor or the brake.
