Ordered new part from AppliancePartsPros and installed it. What I should have done is, after raising the cooktop, lay a blanket over the exposed oven insulation. While I was disassembling the bad burner, vital small parts dropped into inaccessible locations - I couldn't retrieve them. To remove the back panel was more involved than what I was comfortable with. So I reassembled the new buner using three of the four clips. The new bridge burner works fine, but I'm not confident that the burner is fully secured up against the glass cook top.
