Kenneth S Lost Creek , WV August 19, 2016 Broiler element was burnt out Disconnect range from power supply. Removed oven door for ease of replacing elements, (door slides off hinges) Remove screws that attach element to oven, (4 on the broil element and 2 on the bake element) Pull element toward the front of oven to expose wiring. disconnect wires and disguard old element. replace new element in reverse steps. I decided to replace both the broil and bake element's due to the age of the range and also due to fact that the oven gets used every day. The only tool i used was a nut driver and i believe it was a 1/4". I recoment replacing both elements at the same time due to the older the elements get's, the less efficient they become, and also through my experience if you dont you will be in a short time later.
