First I ordered a new knob and clip because the clip in the broken knob was separated from the knob, so I thought I needed both parts. The new knob came with the clip already in it. Sending the new clip back. Installed the new knob but the dryer would still not turn off. Googled the situation and found that the timer was probably not working right. Checked out some YouTube videos to see if I could change the timer myself and decided that I probably could. Found AppliancePartsPros.com online. Easily found the part I needed, got it the next day and fixed it. I am an old, retired lady. I wasn't worried about running into problems while doing the job because I knew I could call AppliancePartsPros.com for help if I needed it. My main objective was to save the cost of a service call and I did it! If I ever need to try a repair again, I will go to AppliancePartsPros.com.
