There've been a lot of miles on my Kitchenaid KFP750OB1. Pulled it out to use last week and found it would not turn on. After some jiggling, I realized the top part of the handle had broken clean off the bowl and that looseness was triggering the safety kill switch. Holding the handle against the bowl allowed the motor to run, but this wasn't a good long-term solution. Thankfully, a factory replacement was still available! Ordered the bowl and it arrived quickly, only a few days after I placed the order. Once unwrapped, it settled right into its proper place on the food processor.
