Look at videos on utube first. I didn't experience any broken tabs on the plastic inner trim as the guy did on the video ( about 7.30 min video). I placed a 1.5" putty knife between the trim and the door housing and found where each of the little tabs were. I then spread the housing and trim with the corner of the putty knife next to each tab and pried up slightly at the same time to disengage the tabs on the trim from the door. Another putty knife was handy to prevent the tabs you just disengaged from engaging again once you move on to the next one. Once you get one side done the others go pretty easy. After the trim is off I used a magnetic tipped screwdriver to lift the screws from between the metal shield. Disengage the tabs similar to the procedure above. They are easy to see how they engage. One thing I did to hopefully increase the time between breakage (mine lasted 2 yrs) was to fill the void around the bottom screw hole in the handle with JB Weld, a brand of epoxy. I figure if the plastic is reinforced where the screw is attached it may last longer. I don't know why they couldn't use 2 screws as they did on the top of the handle. Anyway I've used JB Weld with great success for many fixes. No harm in trying. Good luck... take your time.
